Roger Gallagher (Operations Manager)
Roger Gallagher's passion for tourism has been inspired by the international charitable organisation of Rotary. He spent eight years involved in a dynamic Rotary club that hosted foreign exchange groups from youth, to career professionals, through to retired business people, all keen to meet and learn from a different nation and culture. About this experience, he says "I loved this time and met some amazing people from all corners of the world. Group Travel of New Zealand is a logical extension of the enjoyment and excitement I once shared in the service of Rotary. We are a professional team dedicated to your particular travel experience and care. I invite you to join us and experience New Zealand, Australia and the South Pacific Islands."
Martin Gerlach (Europe)
Martin has been an enthusiastic traveller for all his life and loves the idea to share this passion with others.
Martin resides with his family in Germany. He has 19 years experience in business management, governing two cities, as mayor. During this time he has headed organisations for new developments of local and national tourism projects and the creation of international sister city relationships. His experiences are very strongly centered on people of the world and tourism. Not surprisingly, the Gerlach family decided to seek out new experiences and came to live in New Zealand for one year. During their stay they travelled the length and breadth of our country experiencing our way of life. The Gerlach family made friends quickly and has fallen in love with New Zealand. Upon returning to Germany, Martin now represents Group Travel NZ in Europe. Martin Gerlach's past experiences include interests and achievements in tourism.
Jen Divehall (Marketing/Communications)
Jen has travelled to Bali, Australia and France. As part of her getaway in France touring around in a rental car, she had a couple of short "workaways" - a cultural exchange, that is accommodation and food in return for a few hours work a day. It's a fantastic way to experience another culture. With a strong background in marketing and graphic design, Jen is excited to be on board with Group Travel NZ. Now living in sunny Napier, New Zealand's Art Deco capital and a big tourist hotspot with over 70 wineries, Jen believes New Zealand is one of the best spots to visit in the world, with stunning and diverse scenery . . . "most visitors are really blown away with how beautiful New Zealand is".
